Increased efficiency with global talent development

Assessit is one of NRC’s strategic partners and has provided numerous services over the years for the organization, including a talent management program, capacity development of senior and mid-level managers in Oslo and abroad, development and implementation of a global employee survey, and individual manager coaching.

Assessit also helped NRC implement a global talent program with workshops in Oslo and Tbilisi. The participants were promising leaders from all over the world, and the module in Tbilisi ran over three days under the title of “Management Team Effectiveness”.

The participants were given

• ownership of the NRC model for effective management teams
• specific tools to use in their own teams
• greater insight into how their own team worked
• sparring on specific challenges in the team
• practical skills training

The management team developed greater psychological resilience and increased efficiency and reported that they gained learning and tools to effect changes in their own teams. It has since been proposed that the module should be used in several other country programs.
